1956 Seeling Tragedy
Former player and later coach of Dewsbury Rugby Football League Club, Charles E A Seeling, was told of his father’s death in a car accident on the evening he was to host a farewell party for his father and stepmother who were due to travel to New Zealand.
The Yorkshire Post reported the tragedy on May 28 1956.
