Dewsbury Heroes Heritage Room

Dewsbury Heroes is collecting, collating and record the history of Dewsbury Rugby League Club from its inception in 1898 through its glorious early years to its modern renaissance as a progressive community-based club.

At the start of our project we collected all the memorabilia and material we could – from cupboards, from under the stairs, emptied long-forgotten boxes and asked for the support of Dewsbury Rugby League fans. We unearthed (literally) a treasure trove of material that our hardworking, dedicated volunteers have sorted, restored (in some cases), dated and catalogued into a heritage collection to be proud of and a heritage room at the stadium that we can show off.
