This will secure the heritage of rugby league in Dewsbury. We will recognise every player who has represented the club form its first signing in 1898 to present day and tell the story of the club’s place in Dewsbury society over 125 years of the club’s existence.

Our project will create and deliver an on-line virtual museum which will preserve and protect the heritage and make it easily accessible to all - leading to greater knowledge and understanding of the rich and interesting history of the game in Dewsbury which in turn, will lead to more interest, support and engagement at local clubs.

We will develop a "Dementia friendly" Dewsbury Memories Club for players and supporters to meet and remember their individual rugby memories - offering Dementia training for staff and volunteers. We will tell the stories of the players, the officials and the supporters of Dewsbury – capturing the history and heritage of our “Dewsbury Heroes”.
