1995 Problems with the pitch
During the first season at the new Owl Lane Stadium, the club was beset by problems on the pitch –its condition deteriorated to the point where it was often almost unplayable. In July 1995, investigations took place – digging up a mining water trolley and pieces of coal and bricks.
