Yorkshire vs Cheshire played at Crown Flatt
At the start of the 1883-84 season more ground improvements at Crown Flatt took place – a stand was purchased from the Royal Agricultural Show in York and erected in the south side of the ground. These improvements meant County Cup matches continued to be played at Crown Flatt.
On February 24 1883, Crown Flatt hosted the Yorkshire vs Cheshire fixture in the County Cup.
