1999 Northern Ford Premiership Final
A disappointing end to an exciting season in 1999. Dewsbury Rams took on Hunslet Hawks at Headingley. Dewsbury having finished as league leaders.
Hunslet Hawks’ Latham Tawhai winning the Tom Bergin Trophy in a close match which ended 12-11 to Hunslet. However, Hunslet were not promoted to the Super League as their stadium did not meet the minimum requirements to be accepted into the league.
