Corporate sponsorship came to Dewsbury in the form of a record-breaking sponsorship deal in early 2005. Speculation had been rife about what the new name for the stadium would be, with some traditionalists bemoaning the loss of the traditional names for grounds. Dewsbury were following a growing trend – and so the Tetley’s Stadium was born.
